Ventures, clubs, and service.

Eight things I've started, led, or joined since 2022. Each one began as a small question and grew because I kept showing up for it.

EcoBean

A student-led startup making plant-growing kits from recycled cans, cardboard, and newspaper, with homemade fertilizer from used coffee grounds. Built to help elementary and middle schoolers turn what they learn about climate change into real action.

  • Engineered the fertilizer through iterative testing and product optimization.
  • Led a 30-person team across marketing, finance, HR/PR, and production; sold 27 kits for $540 after a last-week prototype push in the Robotics Lab.
  • Placed 3rd in Singapore at the Junior Achievement 2025–26 competition, the first SAS team in the top three in six years.
  • Ran climate and entrepreneurship workshops for a Girl Scouts troop earning their Budding Entrepreneur badge, and for an elementary school.

Project Wish

A school service club supporting two charities that grant wishes to seriously ill patients. It started in 2024, when I put up posters around Robertson Quay for Ambulance Wish Singapore's Cycle of Peace charity race.

I started Project Wish to show students at my school how to persevere through difficult times, and that small actions can make a huge impact on people's lives.

  • One of only three clubs approved out of 50+ competitive applications.
  • Run fundraisers, build partnerships, and coordinate service opportunities for 30+ members.
  • Planned the school's first social media fundraiser; the club received the New Service Club Award from the SAS Eagle Service Council in 2026.

LaunchLab

Hands-on presentations on vibe coding: building real apps and websites with AI tools, from Claude to Vercel.

  • With Yibo Yang and Nirvan Anand, gave two one-hour LaunchLab presentations to 100+ master's students at ESSEC Business School.
  • Invited by Professor Madina Kalyayeva after meeting her at Junior Achievement Asia Pacific's Youth Beyond Borders networking workshop.
  • Using ESSEC as a base to expand to new schools and audiences, adding workflow automation and my research on AI bias.

Code For All

An international service project that teaches underprivileged children to code, hosts workshops, and repairs old laptops to donate.

I joined without knowing how to code, and stayed because I believed in the mission. As co-president, I've used that outside view to grow the club beyond pure coding into hands-on tech and robotics.

  • Led development of a 10-week AI and vibe-coding curriculum; currently confirming its implementation. This AI work laid the foundation for LaunchLab.
  • Overseeing the Stick 'Em initiative, which brings robotics and coding together for more hands-on lessons with younger students.
  • Led digital literacy presentation development for a service conference hosted by the Jalan Besar Project.

Along the way

Entrepreneurship Club

Officer · Apr 2026 – Present

Led a partnership with the Grade 6 "Shark Tank" unit, coaching students through ideation, problem validation, and pitching, and helped emcee the final for 8 finalists. The winning idea will be funded and built at the school next year. Bringing in the Conrad and Diamond Challenges.

Ambulance Wish Singapore

Summer intern · Jun 2026

The charity's first student intern. Rather than work around slow, manual checks, I took the initiative to fix the system: I learned Power Automate and built 7 automations that flag outstanding wish reports and forms, saving its two-person team about 3 hours a week.

Cricket Coaching Service

Founder · Jun 2023 – Present

A coaching service for kids in my condo, started to share my love of the sport. A structured curriculum prepares them for club-level competitions, and talking with parents as clients taught me responsibility and communication.

Delivery Service

Founder · Jun – Aug 2022

A grocery delivery service for working parents with young children in my condominium. I managed logistics, pricing, and scheduling and earned $300+. The starting point for everything after it.
